Uyo Joy Miachi

Finance and Administration Lead
Uyo has over Ten years of combined professional experience in the banking sector, retail, public service, business development field and non-profit finance. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Kogi State University Anyigba, Nigeria and also acquired a Master’s Degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Westminster, United Kingdom. She has strong research interests in exploring how financial deepening can foster social development in low and middle-income countries, especially for vulnerable population groups such as marginalized youth, women and children. Uyo loves flowers and plants, traveling and photography.

Peace Happiness Ozegbe

Program Assistant
Peace Happiness Ozegbe is a 23-year old mental health and girls rights advocate in Nigeria. She studied a B.Ed in Guidance and Counseling at the University of Abuja, Nigeria. Peace began volunteering to support at-risk girls at a safespace club when she was 16 and that shaped her life and influenced her decision to focus on designing and implementing interventions focused on gender equality. She has designed and supported projects focused on mental health, literacy and school-related gender-based violence (SRGBV) with organizations such as Global G.L.O.W, Padup Africa and Reaching Out to Africa Girls Initiative. She currently works at Research, Data and Stories in Development (RDSD) as a programme assistant where she is able to combine her work and academic experience in counseling and project management to plan and implement interventions through research and advocacy to foster gender equality. Outside of work, she loves to dance, clean and meet new people.

Opeyemi Famodimu

Programs Manager on Education
Opeyemi Famodimu is a graduate of International Relations who has a great passion for impact, community and global development. With over 5 years of volunteering and working, she has gained practical knowledge and experience in advocacy, project and stakeholders’ management with government and development partners. She has also worked on several projects, most of which have been focused on youth and women's development, empowerment and education. Opeyemi has interests in youth and community development, with a strong focus on helping to improve people’s lives, impacting Nigeria, and the society at large. This interest spurs her work on social development focused projects and life as a volunteer with various community organizations. Sharon Sani

Programs Assistant 

Sharon-gift Ojela Sani, ia graduate of archaeology and history from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria. As a programs assistant, her boundless creativity and expertise contribute significantly to project planning and implementation processes at Research, Data, and Stories in Development (RDSD).
Sharon's impact extends beyond RDSD, as she volunteers with organizations like ALITFEST as the team lead for children’s competitions, Simply Poetry as an event coordinator and guest manager, NIBCARD as a game master, the Isaac Balami Foundation as a media support team member, and Shades of Us Media as an actress, bringing diverse projects to life.
Additionally, her entrepreneurial spirit shines through as a trained business owner, making a difference in various ventures; Ojela cookz and Grillz and Jelacosmeticstore. Sharon's passion for making a positive impact and her multifaceted skill set make her an invaluable asset to any endeavor she undertakes.
